Bowman is a tactical communications system integrating digital voice and data technology to provide secure radio, telephone, intercom and tactical internet services in a modular and fully integrated system. EADS provide the security functions for the tactical C4I system including the means by which secure communications are established down to platoon level, supplying both the key variable management sub system and the cryptographic element of the secure radios.
