EADS DS demonstrated the HAIPE ECTOCRYP Blue at UK Coalition Warrior Interoperability Demonstration (CWID) at DSTL Porton Down from June 18th to 26th.

EADS DS demonstrated the HAIPE ECTOCRYP Blue at UK Coalition Warrior Interoperability Demonstration (CWID) at DSTL Porton Down from June 18th to 26th. The submission was entitled ‘Proving a Black Core Network in support of the Deployed Technical Architecture for Afghanistan in the 2012 timeframe.’

This exercise proved invaluable in demonstrating a ‘live’ capability with ECTOCRYP Blue encrypting the CWID Wide Area Network. Approximately 600 visitors were briefed on the utility of the device which is able to deliver UK MoD operational benefits now. By briefing the audience made up of foreign, UK MoD and UK government officials, EADS DS further enhanced its credibility in its ability to offer much needed ‘requirements’ to the customer community.

Looking ahead towards CWID 2010, planning will commence shortly to demonstrate ECTOCRYP Blue (Data) with enhancements and Black (Voice) not only to UK CWID, but potentially to US and NATO CWIDs to facilitate an All Encrypted Network (AEN).
